MMIA Road Construction: FAAN Advises Passengers To Get To The Airport Early by AutoJoshNIG: 6:16am On Apr 09, 2019

Due to the ongoing road construction of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Nigeria, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) released a statement to passengers advising them on the best ways to handle the situation at hand so that they can meet up.

Below is the official statement released by FAAN;

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria hereby advise passengers to leave their homes early, owing to the ongoing reconstruction of the road leading the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

This advise has become necessary due to the traffic gridlock experienced by road users along this axis.
The Authority appeal to passengers that leaving their homes early will ensure they get to the airport in good time and go through all check in formalities with ease.

We apologise for the inconveniences being encountered by passengers due to the situation, the Authority has already mobilized security agencies to ensure that the situation is effectively managed.

FAAN……… Committed to her core values of Safety, Security and Comfort.

Yakubu Henrietta (Mrs.)
General Manager, Corporate Affairs.

Except for the drug trafficking tendencies of some people we know, Nigeria is gradually getting shaped back.
Our airport terminals are getting new faces, railways projects are nearing completion and our roads getting serious attention.

This Airport Road is one of the reasons PDP shouldn't govern Nigeria again coz they wouldn't have given Ambode the go-ahead to construct that road if they had been in power. This is is simply because they want to score cheap political points.

Lagos is for the progressives and not the regressives from the other side. They know themselves.

Country wey don cast tey tey, wey northerners always decides who rules, even if na mad man dey will impose him, simply blc they've got the numbers.

Why is there gridlock, why not construct fly overs, underground tunnels, to bypass that particular road leading to the said airport, cant you see that majority of Nigerian existing roads are being overused hence the daily accidents and deaths caused by this death traps.

The white are right afterall, the black heads simply cant think, even when the solution are glaring up in there faces.

Northerners this, northerners that!

Are the Northerners also responsible for your governor sharing 2 liters of kerosene?

Are they also responsible for your governor's inability to pay simple salaries?

Most of the grid lock is caused by the so called useless military and the police families that parked on the ramp. Six escort vehicle for just one person traveling. The ramp has been turned to a parking lot for this useless general and their families.
