But i like that the senators are fighting against having a rubberstamped YESMAN as the number 3 man in the country. Legislators don't always have to agree with the executives. The questions still remains like this: how can APC make Lawan the senate president without the PDP?

I still strongly believe that any senator projected by APC as a party will not get the seat. The same thing that happened in 2015 will play out again. PDP block votes of over 40 senators and APC senators split votes will secure victory for the non establishment senator.
