Hey guys! Just a few things to note:

•This will be a short story (sort of). It is a work of
fiction.
•The title is subject to change.
•This is my first attempt at writing so I would
appreciate your feedback immensely. Drop a like
if you enjoyed a chapter.
•The story will mostly be about teenage and young
adult experience. You can expect anything.
•There will be explicit use of language.
•Grammar suggestions and corrections are
welcome.

(06:35PM. James' apartment)

''Tell us what happened already'' Tonye says, agitated.

''Wetin dey worry you sef? Leave him alone. Nobody's forcing you to sit and listen'' Chelsea yells at Tonye, getting annoyed by his constant nagging.

''Don't talk to me like that you gutter breath" Tonye shoots back at her, his agitation rising.

"Mumu" Chelsea retorts.

"What is your problem?" Tonye asks, a sardonic smile plastering his face "Is this about last night?"

"What? I don't know what you're talking about" Chelsea is smiling at this point. She does know what Tonye is talk about.

"Oh really? Too bad nobody wants you. You should be thanking me for keeping your vagina up and running. I deserve better"

"I'm sure you do" Chelsea replies, unfazed.

Tonye narrows his eyes, but comments no further.

"Tonye..." James speaks, confused and amused at the same time "Why are you here?"

Tonye looks at James like he is the scum of his toilet but doesn't reply. He brings out a 100 naira note from his pocket and stretches his hand out to James.

"Take... Go buy me cigar"

James gives him a funny look, arching his brows.

"Since when do you smoke?"

"Shut that mouth and collect this money from me" Tonye yells.

"Ignore him" Chelsea says to James then she turns to Tonye with a frown "It's enough now..."

Tonye opens his mouth to speak but he closes it on a second thought, unsure of what to say.

"Dont tell me what to do" he mutters weakly "bitch" he says as an after thought.

"Tonye... Are you drunk? Since when do you drink?" James asks, getting more confused.

"Which kyn mumu question be dah one?" Tonye looks unsure of himself as he yells.

"Why are you yelling?" Chelsea sighs as she rubs her eyes.

"Continue with your tale James... What happened to your sister?" Chelsea says.

James paused for a moment, looking from Tonye to Chelsea and from Chelsea to Tonye. "So you guys finally f*ucked huh?... When? For how long?" James asks with a bored expression on his face.

"I'm going to class" Chelsea says, picking her bag.

"By 7 in the evening? What kind of class is that?" Tonye asks, grinning.

She stands up and walks out the door of James' apartment, not replying as she slams the door shut.

"What was that about?" James asks after a moment's silence.

"What?"

"Wetin be whut?"

"I no know wetin you dey talk" Tonye says as he stands up to leave; his mood suddenly sober "I'm going home"

James looks at him like he expects an explanation, but Tonye avoids eye contact like his life depends on it. James sighs. He knows at this point, it's best to leave Tonye alone. He stands up and walks to the door where Tonye stood.

"I'll walk you to the junction" Tonye nods but says nothing. He waits for James to lock the door of his apartment.

"Let's go" James says as he starts walking with Tonye beside him.

Sure. I'd need further clarification though.
