Official DRDO video on ASAT test

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRs79t6z7fc

Shows the IIR seeker and the DCS / ACS system etc, the interceptor is cannisterized too , but not used in the current test.

DARPA will have a heart attack when they see the DCS / ACS system test stand , compared to the alien type facilities of DARPA , the DRDO one looks like garage, though results r same to certain extent. Kind of expected, DARPA has billions while DRDO barely has few millions to burn.

DRDO ASAT IIR SEEKER

And this seeker can identify and lock targets in space ~ 200km ( will wait for confirmation later )

Damn personally first time I am hearing about a IIR seeker of such huge range , AFAIK ordinarily IIR seekers in missiles have range <40 km .

Final image of the target Microsat R satellite sent from IIR seeker on ASAT before hitting Microsat R less than a millisecond later during endgame impact.

What is interesting is that DRDO PDV MK 2 ASAT made kinetic kill on a satellite moving at a very high speed of 10 km per second ie 36 Mach shocked

And with a accuracy of < 10 centimetres shocked

It seems certain American experimental satellites GSSAP ( Geosynchronous Space Situational Awareness Program or Hornet ) have been approaching Nigerian satellites among others for close up inspection of some sorts . Me thinks Nigeria satellites r targets of opportunity for calibration or testing of capabilities of their experimental satellites whatever that might be. The activities r strictly observational through , no physical contact or interference of any sort . May be testing maneuvering capabilities around a satellite of interest , I don't know for sure.

Another slide from a old DRDO presentation

Orbital multiple kill vehicle

The ASAT from the same old DRDO presentation has come to fruition , now the next step should be for the demonstration of the orbital multiple kill vehicle.

I don't think there has ever been any debate or argument about Nigerian satellite capabilities. Not much secrecy either since we got them all from China.

I guess what Nem is trying to say is that Uncle Sam is testing his newest space technology by picking on countries (their satellites specifically) that won't create much fuss.

They can't try that with Russia and China.

Actually the concerned US satellites demonstrated concern and interest befitting a long lost lover when it came to the satellites of the above 2 countries grin

It is also alleged they had kidnapped a deactivated but orbiting Chinese satellite. Extreme love grin

Behold first image of a black hole

Must be a artificial image highlighting the secondary effects due to the presence of a black hole , black hole cannot be viewed since it absorbs light completely .

Black holes really intrigue me , since the singularity signals the breakdown of all laws of physics and rationality.

IWI presents its new 5.56x45mm CARMEL assault rifle/carbine at LAAD 2019 Exhibition in Brazil.

Basic data for the CARMEL fitted with a 10.5”/267mm barrel include an empty weight (no magazine) of 3.3kg, a folded stock length of 526mm, and an overall length (stock fully extended) of 806mm. Gun’s cyclic rate of fire is about 850 rounds per minute.

Even light does not escape its gravitational pull, intriguing.

Even our sun bends light close to it , light being pulled in by black hole is not that interesting considering scale of density of mass.

It should interest u to know that some stars collapse on themselves and produce high pressure enough to convert their mass into a single crystalline solid diamond , so basically we have millions of stars which r planets of a single diamond shocked

If u manage to bring a small piece of the diamond and weigh it on a weight scale with earth on one of the scales , the small piece of diamond will have enough mass ie weight to outweigh our entire earth shocked

Anyways what is interesting is what happens on the point of singularity / on the other side of the point .

Point of singularity is the black hole where the event horizon breaks or simply stated everything being pulled in ends up there and nobody knows what happens after that.

Energy is constant , one cannot make or destroy it , so the energies at the point of singularity and importantly beyond it must manifest into something.

Then there is the mystery of dark matter , possibly it could be related to the black hole.

And also it's effect on time , black hole will dilate time on our side of the singularity , so a person orbiting a black hole will spend 1 hour which will be equal to 1 year or more for a person on earth ( time scale is not correct just to give u a idea of difference )

Also time on the other side of singularity will be a mystery , will it exist , nobody knows.

Let me ask u all a interesting question which nobody seems to ask

What is time ? Why does it exist ? How does it exist ? grin
