Even with this figure, the public are seriously complaining that it too much.

Akuffo addo current ministers is over bloated and this i think might affect the economy
Those extra ministries he created do not have a single ministry building or office buh they all use the flagstaff house which is the presidential palace as their office alongside the president all sharing the same office building and they also do not have their own budget buh rather share the office of the president budget together with the vice president. And in Ghana, the president is not provided with a house of residence buh they rather use their own house same for all the ministers all residing in their own houses. The presidents decline the one at the flagstaff house which is always empty and not furnished. The ministries he created have no special or extra employees buh use the presidential staffers thus the higher number of staffers at the presidential palace. In Ghana,a minister is paid 15,000 cedis which is about 3,000 dollars a month and a deputy minister is paid 12,000 cedis. The current cry is by the opposition who have a mandate and agenda to cry against most seemingly unpopular government decisions which is needed in a democratic settings.Besides the extra ministries he created work in very specialized fields such as sanitation minister, procurement minister, inner city and zongo development minister, planning and evaluation minister and others which may not be captured by the traditional ministers and these new ministers all work at the presidential palace.

i guess akuffo addo realised this when he sacked 41 staffers some days ago.

After 110 ministers and these numbers of staff at the presidency and Duplication of roles at the civil service? Why?Some of them will have nothing to do than to draw their salary monthly at tax payers expense. No good justification can balance the over bloated appointment. Ghana economically should be checked as well.

Guess what, after the completion of the building, only the few elites will be able to afford ir.

I am sure mini industrial park across the 36 states of Nigeria will be more productive and economically reasonable to have. More educational trainning and more job will be created indirectly or directly.

Google open up its first african A1 lab in Ghana.

Google takes on ‘Africa’s challenges’ with first AI centre in Ghana.

An artificial intelligence research laboratory opened by Google in Ghana, the first of its kind in Africa, will take on challenges across the continent, researchers say.

The US technology giant said the lab in the capital Accra would address economic, political and environmental issues. “Africa has many challenges where the use of AI could be beneficial, sometimes even more than in other places,” Google’s head of AI Accra, Moustapha Cisse, told AFP at the centre’s official opening this week. Similar research centres have already opened in cities around the world including Tokyo, Zurich, New York and Paris.

The new lab, Cisse said, would use AI to develop solutions in healthcare, education and agriculture — such as helping to diagnose certain types of crop disease. Cisse, an expert from Senegal, said he hoped specialist engineers and AI researchers would collaborate with local organisations and policymakers.

Google is working with universities and start-ups in Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa to enhance AI development regionally, he said. “We just need to ensure that the right education and opportunities are in place,” he said. “That is why Google is sponsoring a lot of these young people for their degrees… to help develop a new generation of AI developers.” – ‘Clear opportunity’ – Other tech companies, including Facebook, have launched initiatives in Africa and demographics are a key factor behind the drive. Africa’s population is estimated to be 1.2 billion, 60 percent of them under the age of 24. By 2050, the UN estimates the population will double to 2.4 billion.

As online social networks expand, that presents a huge market for US tech giants to tap into. “There’s a clear opportunity for companies like Facebook and Google to really go in and put a pole in the sand,” said Daniel Ives, a technology researcher at GBH Insights in New York. “If you look at Netflix, Amazon, Facebook, Apple, where is a lot of that growth coming from? It’s international,” he told AFP in a recent interview

False talks..Are you mistaking a city for estate, because clearly they are both different. How did you think dubai, new York, abu Dhabi, Singapore was built. These I listed are cities and not estate. Now sit down and ask your self how much these built cities have attracted to their respective countries .
Now lets talk all about industrial park.I would list the one I am aware of.
Abuja industrial city (under construction )
Ibom industrial city (under construction )
Calabar (ben ayade industrial city..under construction )
Lekki industrial cities-lagos
Now there are some in kano, kaduna, ibadan, port harcourt, that are under construction but I don't know them by their name and they are all under construction. Before i forget there is also one in eyimba economic city which is also a city like eko atlantic that just went in construction this year.

Do know that these cities has it economic importance because investors will like to invest in a global city with world class infastructures. This are the kind of things that convinces them to invest with hope to get a good return

A 26-year-old Nigerian, credited for building the world’s first gaming robot, Silas Adekunle, has become the highest paid in the field of robotic engineering.
Adekunle achieved the feat after signing a new deal with the world’s reputable software manufacturers, Apple Inc.

The robotics engineer was also named as “Someone to Watch in 2018” by the Black Hedge Fund Group.

Adekunle is currently the founder and CEO of Reach Robotics, a company developing the world’s first gaming robots.

He also recently graduated with a first class degree and has four years’ background in robotics.

Born in Lagos, Adekunle studied in Nigeria before relocating to the United Kingdom as a teenager.

After completing his secondary school education, he proceeded to the University of the West of England where he graduated with a first class degree in Robotics.

In 2013, he founded Reach Robotics and developed a lot of experience on robotics within a space of four years.

Adekunle was also a team leader of Robotics In Schools programme, a programme which encourages and pays attention to students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

The programme encouraged him to develop robotics to make education more entertaining for STEM students.

In 2017 MekaMon, he released the world’s first gaming robot, with the special ability to customise the gaming bot to perform personalised functions.

The initial launch of Mekamon sold 500 bots, generating $7.5 million.

Following this feat, he received support from various organisations including London Venture Partners ($10 million) and Reach Robotics signed a deal with Apple securing exclusive sales in Apple stores.

“Impressed by the quality of his robots and their ability to show emotion with subtly-calibrated movements, Apple priced his four-legged “battle-bots” at $300 and has put them in nearly all of its stores in the United States and Britain.

Early customers skew towards male techies but a growing number of parents are buying the robots for their children to get them interested in STEM, Adekunle told Forbes in an interview this year.
