I think there was a time that was done,can't really remember that year but wearing the police uniform was equal to death for them so they had to always cover up there uniform while going to work..

this is what happens when a country has a leader that is always encouraging the use of extreme force by security agencies.


the security officers become emboldened to use deadly force even when it is not required because the C-in-C has tacitly authorized the use of such force.

& since our security agencies are populated with sadists & poorly educated miscreants, they feel they have the right to do & undo...


the orientation of our security agencies needs to be changed.

the screening of prospective recruits needs to be more rigorous.

the carrying of automatic rifles anyhow in public by security officers needs to be stopped. security officers carrying out routine assignments in public should do so with only holstered pistols...

heavy armed security operatives should only carry out operations in response to specific threats which may require the use of superior firepower to confront the criminals.

This police issues in this country is getting worrisome.
Killing each day and we have not heard anything from the people we voted or who forced themselves into power and have sworn to protect it's citizens.

I'm going to refer to what burnaboy said.....if we ain't ready to fight this pple, as in real fight ooo we are going nowhere! Their brutality won't end anytime soon and why me and you have not taken this so serious is because it has not happened to anyone close to us and I pray it won't IJN! It has reached a stage where we have to start defending ourselves. It's obvious this government doesn't give a damn F about us. It's a jungle now, it's either you kill them or get killed.

We are gradually sliding into total anarchy.. This is what happens when u recruit people who present a borrowed 'O' levels from relatives or friends.. The Nigerian police force (the lower cadre) is full of mediocres who have low self-esteem issues.. This pattern of killings will one day cause total break down of law and order unless something is going to be done now to address the issue.. May God in his own way comfort the deceased family and close friends. And heal the guy also.. So Sad!

Foolish cowards Nigerians. I keep saying it that only a sustained armed rebellion against the police will force the government to take a decisive action against the police bastards. When they are hunted and shot like animals, they will be forced to do the needful. If una like keep ranting and shouting on social media, the useless government will keep paying deaf ears to ur cries.

Nigerians are too docile that's why the government, police force etc keep taking us for granted.

If the government doesn't do anything about this killings, I'm sorry it will only end in social media.

There is no unity in Nigeria , I remember when segalink was talking about the end SARS movement, some Nigerians where saying he is a PDP agent using it against the government.

That's just one of the reasons why nothing will be done, everything will start and end on social media.

Do you also remember the protest? Well only few people showed up even though a lot of people talked about it on social media.
