Do you know that... If the United Nations should organize a plebiscite (referendum) right now across Nigeria, asking the question: DO YOU WANT TO BE NIGERIAN? Where the options would be either YES or NO, the YES would have it? Ask the average Nigerian; he would rather want an Oduduwa, Middle Belt, Arewa, Edo, Niger Delta or Biafra Republic than Nigeria? Yes! This is a fact! Majority of Nigerians want out of this hellhole already. If that be the case, whom exactly is the proponent of "One Nigeria" especially as miserably constituted? Nigeria is being held together through the barrel of the gun! Little wonder even the politicians that loot the country dry don't like the country either! It's almost unanimous; most Nigerians detest the hellhole they call home! It's #confederacyOrDissolution. As constituted, Nigeria is a sham!!! #thinkAgain. |

Installed capacity of electricity (generating capacity) is different from electrical production (use) over a period of time. The numbers you allotted to other countries are electrical production/use for the year 2017. While the one allotted to Nigeria is a standard generating capacity. Nigeria electrical production/use for 2017 is about 27,000. Having clarified this, it's still an abysmal outing for Nigeria. 1. China with a population of about 1.5 billion people generating capacity is about 1,800,000gwh. They consumed/used 6,495,100,000 MW in 2017. 2. South Korea with a population of 51 million people has generating capacity of about 300,000gwh. They consumed/used about 600,000mw in 2017. 3. Nigeria with a population of 200 million people has a generating capacity of about 5,000. They consumed only about 27,000mah in 2017. When you do the maths, you will find out that Nigeria couldn't even produce enough electricity to power their noisy second hand or china made fans in the night, how much more powering manufacturing, service and hospitality sectors. Nigeria only use electricity to sleep with their wives and girlfriends in the night, while other countries use them to power their mega factories and service industries. Gear up brothers, it's gonna be a long walk through the tick darkness. 2 Likes |
