This dubious, premeditated, fraudulent and remote-controled judgement by Danladi Umar would be thrown out by the Supreme Court. You can't break the law to punish someone just because you don't want him. There's a laid down procedure to follow before a judicial officer can be tried. Umar can't say he's trying Onnoghen as a Public Officer but not as a Judicial Officer. Is it possible for him to be the Chief Judge without first being a judge? Can one even tried the Army Chief, who is even a 'lesser' Public Officer than the Chief Justice of Nigeria and also an appointee of the President, without following the procedure laid down by the Military?
