Umar can't say he's trying Onnoghen as a Public Officer but not as a Judicial Officer. Is it possible for him to be the Chief Judge without first being a judge? Can one even tried the Army Chief, who is even a 'lesser' Public Officer than the Chief Justice of Nigeria and also an appointee of the President, without following the procedure laid down by the Military?

He did in 2016 and a new form was given to him and he voluntarily supplied all the information. The CCB Act says if, as a Public Officer, you forget to declare your assets in full, then you can admit the error, collect another form, fill and submit. The moment you do that you're innocent and not supposed to be referred to CCT. The Government violated her own laws just to punish Onnoghen

Why are you embarrassing yourself?

This CCT act you are talking about does not exist. This thing you speak of was the amendment act Saraki and the National assembly tried to pass after his attempt to take control of CCT during his trial but was not signed by Buhari into law. You keep mentioning it here and there but it negates the rule of law.

The CCB act says you must fill the asset declaration forms withing 3 months of assuming office or every 4years in office and at expiry of tenure.

There is nothing about giving you other forms. Just because you made obmission and it was brought to your notice. That was Saraki's proposal which didnt work.
