@ StateReporter News By Thomas’s Agu Following the New Minimum Wage on Thursday, National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) members will reportedly earn N35,000 monthly. This is an increase from the current N19,800 figure. Similarly, the graduate trainee scheme, popularly known as N-Power, may also witness a raise from the current N30,000 to N50,000. Still very poor, as a graduate, federal government should use this optunity to empower them with at least 100k for a year to enable them start reasonable business because going by the current employment rate in the country many of them may not be able to secure a job even after 5 to 10yrs, maybe that will encourage people to go to school and this will help us to get ride of illiterate politicians like the ones we are having now both in and out of Aso Rock. 3 Likes |
