I recently quitted my teaching job when my boss said she will slap me. Now, i have like 120k and don't know the type of business I can venture into. I thought of food business but the cost of shops and lack of knowledge make me scared.
Please , I will like u guys to share your experience on how I can be my own boss with or without shop.
I will appreciate if this post is urgently treated cuz I am jobless now.

Why I said this is because if you venture into any business and one of your customer says she or he will slap you, won't you close the business? There are lots of business to do with that amount but some business takes time, courage, perseverance, endurance, tolerance and hardwork to grow. From the reason you gave about quitting your job I don't think you posses 40% of the above, unless you are willing to learn. All the same good luck.

i did.... But she could as well just write that she's gat 120k and need advice on how to invest it........(which is actually what she wants)...u forgot her problem and attacked her for leaving her previous job...

For you the lady, go and invest that money in getting yourself a skill. That's the best you can do.
Dont try and do something, you aren't cut out for all in the name of business.

ur a teacher.
teach.
get referrals from d school kids' parents.
add ICT training and offer free 1hr weekly for kids at ur place of worship or ur street.
if u dare use dt money 4 anything else, d vanishing will shock u.

Dear i understand your situation.......that is what you get when you work under someone....just look for a busy place and start snacks business or food selling...you dont necessarily need to get a shop....jyst get a space and pay a carpenter to do one or two constructions for you

Everyone has one or two stories to tell. That I'm successful today means I passed through tough challenges. Though I will advice you look for something similar to teaching to do because I don't think you are ready or prepared to face the hardship of nurturing a business yet. Good luck

He was trying to get her mind prepared to determine if she has what it takes to enter into business. Not about taking a gamble with her life savings as it is.

With what he said, she can decide to shun the idea of business and apply in another school.

Its not everybody that is cut out for business or is business oriented.
