I am not sure there is a good case for Oyetola outside of technicalities and if the Appeal court judges ignore technicality, which has been the trend lately and focus on the substance of the case, it would be hard to reverse the case. Please, bear in mind, you are not calling for new evidence(s). When INEC could not defend the results and actions taken by their resources, you could sense there was a looming danger. That said, I wish them well.

My brother,the grounds apc are raising is strong.by the way,technicalities are important and must be surpassed before the main suit.whether inec defends its actions or not doesn't matter as far as pdp could not prove its case well.lets look at issues apc raised before the panel.
One,the judge who wrote the lead judgment was not present when the main apc witnesses testified but made conclusions which is erroneous.a judge is like a coach,he must always attend his team matches.thats a big loophole.
Secondly,the judges said that results from 17 units were altered based on the evidence of witness 74 which the court earlier claimed that his testimony were mere hearsay.now they turned around to affirm his evidence.that is wrong.
Thirdly that the court said the figures on the original result sheet is different from the copies gotten by other parties and security agents suggesting alterations.this doesn't invalidate the result of that unit afterall elections were concluded in those units and figures entered.therefore the court should have recalculated the figures from the party agents copies or if they were to cancel order a rerun there.another mistake.
Finally,the electoral act gives the tribunal powers to affirm or cancel elections and not to declare a winner.so you see,the tribunal erred.

Actually,there was none sir.always talk objectively and keep your senseless sentiments out.i have seen the pdp petition,nothing about alterations.all results sheets were entered correctly without any alterations or cancellations.they were very careful.the only thing pdp will do is to call some voters and agents to testify that there was violence and no voting while inec and apc will also bring counter witnesses.forget kano.
