I have been having itching around my penis, thigh, groin, buttock for a while now. There is light red stuffs (don't know what to call it) on the tip of the penis. The itching is usually intense at night.I notice a lump in my groin few days after.After sharing this issue with someone, he told me to be using Vistaplus cream but I have noticed any changes at all.
So, this morning, I went to the health center, the doctor examined me and he prescribed some drugs. The drugs are :Doxycyline and Ciprofloxacin.
My question is :are these drugs going to be effective? Or is there any thing I should do to ensure perfect healing?

what sickness did your doctor told you you have ?

The drugs are antibiotics. They are meant to take care of the issue assuming it was caused by an infection. Just take the drugs as advised. In a case where the itching persists, you then go back to your doctor who will refer you to a dermatologist or you can request to see a dermatologist.

But when you say examine...did you mean u had a test in the lab and was diagnosed with an infection or wat?

Because having a real diagnosis of the infection you have will go a long way in treating whatever it is you have...

I don't know why any health worker will just prescribe a bunch of antibiotics for you to take knowing full well each infection has it's own unique fighting antibiotics...

Taking antibiotics unnecessarily can give you another different infection...So have a diagnosis first before taking any drug

That is scrabies ......make sure you change and wash your undies and bed sheet with hot water twice a day.....they go to a pharmacy and buy benzy benzoate cream rub it on the affected area but get ready to bear the heat from the cream

He just carried out physical examination and wrote drug prescription for me to take to the pharmacy.

what u are experiencing is a STD.
Since u have seen a doctor.
Kindly continue with all prescription
Cos u are suppose to trust ur Doctor, at least a little.
Ur doctor didn't prescribe a cream for u
Don't apply any cream, could make it irritable and worst.
Those drugs takes care of general STD infections.
For it to get to this stage it has been on for more than 7 weeks.
Did u have fever or sore throat recently.
Are the wounds bringing out water or it looks like rash with water in it.?
Are they very painful or just itching?

Hi. If u are still feeling the symptoms, here is a natural therapy to alleviate ur suffering: use natural antibiotics. Blend onions, garlic & ginger, add warm water & drink at least once a day.
