This is not true, there is a difference between ponzi scheme and yahoo, most of this internet fraudsters use different method, I have a bitter experience some years ago, I was about to finish my NYSC, so I say a company (not individual) with a working website, with ads about a particular product I want to go into, the return was moderate about 8% gain, so you see, its not a get rich quick scheme, its was legit but they were not legit, I remember paying into a corporate account and all that. I felt it was secure, only to discover its one of the yahoo people, Trust me, for weeks I will just sit and wonder how someone could do such a thing.

Yes you can say, you will never do business online, but trust me, you can't go everywhere just to get a product, though I have other good experience online too, but the point is, anyone can be deceived, all that is needed is to get the right tools, in my case, I trusted the corporate world, the fact that they have a company bank account was what blinded me.

Please just shut up if you don't get anything at your age. It's because you have never worked legimately all your life. Someone pose as a legitimate business man to duped someone you are putting the blame on the person who was duped. The next time arm robbers steal from you. Blame yourself for buying and car and luring them close.

My colleague was duped last week of about 300k .Unfortunately for him he was doing a transaction before then that was not successful and when he got a call that his account has an error and needs to call a code sent to his line, he fell for it.Five minutes later, the money was cleared. The money was sent to him to run an errand for someone from abroad.Was he greedy? No , he was just naive. There are many like that out there. He will have to pay for that loss. How can anyone even justify such acts of wickedness.

Anything that deals with fraud online is generally termed Yahoo. It must not be dating scam.

Scam is scam. In 2013, I lost the money I had in my UBA to fraudsters who used my money to shop online..

This year, my babe mom lost over 200k to fraudsters who called her to confirm her acct details. As an elderly woman who knew nothing much about transactions, she answered the questions and voom, they cleared her acct..

Be it mmm, or any scheme, fraud is fraud. And thunder will fire them all. They will keep catching them.

- some people have been brutally broken in life and the last urge for one more try before suicide, a Yahoo boy end up on the other side of the line fooling the lady or man with love.

Alot of the response to this shows how naive alot of the readers are,not every scam is a pyramid scam yes some are successful cause of the victims greed,but the bulk of d scam today is money diversion which has nothing to do with greed where they simply intercept your transaction and divert the funds,credit card fraud is another, the era of love scam has reduced drastically with sensitization. So please what is wrong is wrong I pray we dont fall victim someday before we realise how painful this is.

What about people whose bank accounts and credit cards were hacked? Then those who unknowingly logged on to phishing websites in a bid to shop online but got scammed ? Those simply looking for love and spouses on dating sites ? I guess they were all greedy people, right ?

beyond this narration,people must be knowledgeable enough to know you don't give out everything when it comes to investing in a business esp one that you still don't understand or know!
