What is this one saying? Where were you when my mum lectured in A.B.U for twenty five years? If my family should contribute in training you northerners, then I don't see anything bad in getting a slot based on "merit" because my state is also under the "catchment area".

And middle belt is located where?

Pele. In simple terms, teach us how to calculate GP. And for your information, NUC don't set curriculum for medicine. They are not even responsible for accreditation of medical schools. It is medical and dental council. Until you are humble enough to admit you are delving into uncharted waters that you know exactly nothing about, you will keep fooling yourself
Chief why you de reply that guy na, leave him to his ignorance, stop giving him the attention he is craving for. FYI there are lots of frustrated people here on Naira land

These are Anatomy and Physiology students... Am sure those girls must have applied for MBBS but were denied and their slots given to people with names like Sadiya, Muhammad, Umaru, Ganduje, Hadiza, Usman, Zubairu, Mustafa, Buhari and co... Imagine one of my younger ones who scored 320 in JAMB with six distinctions in O'level was still denied MBBS in ABU (and given Anatomy instead) despite he "finished work" in their PostUTME...

seriously you know the school well

God bless your mum for her contribution towards educating north earners but if she didn't do it so many are praying and willing to do it and will do just as good as she had done.
Besides she was paid for her service or was it charity.
You should be grateful that the north gave her the opportunity to groom future doctors because am sure she will not enjoy that privilege where she came from so don't for a second think you have done anybody a favour.

She is now a Deputy VC "where she came from" since she couldn't bear the unequal treatment and A.B.U is still begging her to come back(even if it would be as a visiting Prof.)...but she is done with the North and very soon she will be migrating to Canada as her services are also sought for over there.

The NUC is empowered by law to lay down Minimum Academic Standards (MAS) for universities in the Federation and to accredit their degrees programmes. This led to the preparation, with the use of experts, of the Minimum Academic Standards for the 13 disciplines taught in Nigerian Universities in 1989. The disciplines are; Administration, Agriculture, Arts, Basic Medical Sciences, Education, Engineering and Technology, Environmental Sciences, Law, Medicine and Dentistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sciences, Social Sciences and Veterinary Medicine.

You still don't understand me. Based on "MERIT", when someone has stayed and schooled all his life in the north and scores 320 in JAMB, 6 distinctions in NECO, 8 distinctions in WASSCE, and 93% in post UTME, the person should also be given admission to study MBBS(on merit) aside the fact that his state also belongs to the catchment area(Middle Belt)... You hardly come across that kinda result in the north these days.
I understand but northerners would always be chosen first ahead of anybody whether merit or not. Moreover he's competing against people from his state for the available slot. Your prof. Mum should have followed it up for him na.

I thought since it was Zaria, I was gonna see names from a particular region. I now remembered they have long been married out at age 12.
I live in Kaduna, ABU is full of fanatic , if you count 100 Muslims before you will count a Christian, but surprisingly the two best students are Christians.

let me reply you for the last time. NUC only gives the university the go ahead to start medical school and that is where their accreditation ends. That is why you see many medical schools running for 15yrs without accreditation and without their students graduating. Like Ekiti state medical school has been running for years without accreditation from medical council so no graduation. MDCN must do accreditation for part 1 MBBS, part two part 3 and part 4 before you can even write exams not to talk of graduating. They insist on the number of lecturers they want, the facilities, the curriculum. So, stop assuming you know by pulling a redundant document from the internet. Medicine is not studied online. You go to medical school.

She's no more there...More so, she doesn't interfere in our affairs (we were taught to hustle hard for ourselves)... Owing to the fact that he had done his nursery, primary and secondary education within the A.B.U staff school, it was natural for us to "assume" that he would be given the admission based on the fact that he is a "school compound boy" and has an excellent result... Abeg, am tired of even whining over that matter...

You're obviously one of those doctors busy killing patients in nigeria up and down due to poor standards, arrogance and a feeling of being better than anyone else

Imagine labeling yourself the best doctor

Where did you train, what's your specialty, how many years have you spent as a specialist?

My di*ck needs sucking. I can oblige you to do that. With a condom obviously
