Dont condemn those guys that dismantled the barrier because Nigerian government is the killer of lives they claim to protect, now let me ask you guys; erecting such barrier in a locality that people(thousands) ply on a daily basis for their lively hood without an alternative route, isnt that crazy?

I only fault the process of the dismantling, let alternative be installed and things will flow.

Comparing Abuja road (Urban) to this village (rural) road is not worth it. Substandard, i agree with you, but it is far better than leaving the road in its former state whereby it will be almost impossible to reach the people in the rural areas.

1. To prevent heavy duty trucks from plying the road that is not meant for them.
2. To protect life's and properties, etc

- Some roads are not even designed to carry more than a certain tonnage of load or else they would collapse.

Apart from Enugu town, Everyother places in Enugu state are filled with backward people. Especially Nsukka side, because after UNN You're at your own risk.

Then that's the fault of the Hilux driver, who drove beneath the barrier at high speed and failed to warn his passengers appropriately.

This is a pure statement of fact, most people in Enugu state are ignorant illiterates. Even when the govt is trying to save lives they prefer to be adamant. This is why the state is the most backward state today in SE and SS.. Even mxrep can confirm this.

that road is filled with sharp bends ,dangerous hills etc and as such is unhealthy for trucks to ply them, the last time they did, series of accidents was recorded and as such its endangering the life of the road users.
