Someone came in and saw him sleeping comfortably and used a bucket of water and poured on him. See his reaction.

so at where I'm presently working, I noticed one of the workers (a lady) who 'sleeps' every time its lunch break. like she doesn't do anything but lay her carton on the usual spot and before you know it, she has drifted away. She doesn't eat anything nor go out like the others to at least, stretch some muscles.

One morning on my way to work, I noticed her leaving another establishment on her way to work too. I approached her, we exchanged pleasantries and started gisting. From our 'gist', I found out She's a grandmom with kids and grandkids she fends for. She works 8am-5pm at our place of work and 10pm-6am at the other establishment.

And the supervisors and bigger ogas at work dont know this and threaten her with termination of his job anytime she oversleeps into end of break time.

Nevertheless, my respect for her and people who go beyond normal human limits for theirs quadrupled.

Now imagine if it was that grandmom in the post above that had water thrown at her, how would you react?

Nice story, and I feel for the grandmom.

However, a security guard sleeping on duty - is that who you want guarding people's lives and property? If he is not well rested, how can he perform the duties he was hired for? Should we also extend our sympathies to the truck driver or machine fabricator who works two jobs so they can pose a danger to themselves and others because of lack of sleep?
