Ibeju Lekki is far from VI o!!! Some areas on the mainland like Yaba, Surulere, Gbagada etc are even closer to VI than Ibeju Lekki. With your budget, you can get a shared apartment in Lekki

yes that's true, but i hear houses are even more expensive in those areas.

searching online i haven't seen a mini flat in yaba for less than 450k

I'm looking for an apartment i can rent alone not sharing with others

Hmm, rent is just geting more and more expensive while income remains the same. You can look around akoka/bariga axis, you'll surely find a miniflat that suits your budget

Increase ur budget a little and get a place @ Gbagada. Many people that work in VI stay in Gbagada and it's a sweet place to be.

but they're not alot of job opportunities over there compared to Lagos

Say who?
In Lagos if you've got no connect, you either have a marketing job or related stuff.
You think it that easy having a job in Lagos...Please rethink population is high.

So it's Abuja jobs you don't require connection for? Bros Lagos is far better than Abuja in terms of job.
Over 60/70% of Abuja jobs are Federal and International NGO jobs which even requires more connections to get.

Atleast you have your sanity in place unlike Lagos where Agbero n traffic will take a toll on you.
