Nigerian footballer, Dickson Nwakaeme; a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Pahang FA in Malaysia Super League shared his experience how former Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia, asked him to pay bribe.

Yesterday, David Alaba, Bayern Munich star, accused coaches of the Golden Eaglets of denying him the opportunity to join the Nigerian squad at the 2007 FIFA World Cup in South Korea because he refused to pay bribe.

He wrrote: 'The way Siasia ask me to pay for Beijing 2008. So sad. They’re killing our football and talents'.

This is not a surprise news in Nigeria. The bribery scheme has killed the real talent hunt in the jungle called Nigeria. The current results of teams in every level of the competition both male and female will attest to these allegation. Sometimes one wonders why good players are left out of a team for important engagements.

Who knows if he was the one that offered Siasia a bribe and they went into negotiations

Like I said earlier, the average Nigerian have the mentality that they need to pay something to get something and if the person is not collecting something they may even be suspicious of him not doing the job.

I believe the story 100% See the Alaba story, see the current Flying Eagles team, see how Adrian Akande was asked to dump England and then not even given a cap. I pray we never ever employ a home base coach for the Super Eagles again.

I already knows this all these former guys that represented Nigeria I met them at national stadium during LG CUP INVITATION TOURNAMENT I remember abbey George, that guy and yakubu ayebeni and utaka I met all of them. I use to play in grassroot team at stadium later I knew it won't be easy to play for Nigeria so I left. I knew everything was money.
