Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has said that the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, is not in the position to decide who runs for governor of the state. Wike stated this while speaking to journalists on Tuesday at the Government House, in response to an earlier comment made by Amaechi. Amaechi had said that there is no war between him and the Governor, explaining that the issue between both of them was due to Wike’s decision to run for a second term.
