Those guys are thief. I told them that the next time they will try to stop me, I will knock the person down and use the 25k for his treatment.

My uncle called one of his airforce friend to go with me over there but still we eventually still paid 10,000 naira... those people are asshole... the 10k I was begging them with before was what they later collected the next day. Even with the airforce they still did alot of shakara because they are all thugs there... I will advice people to be extra careful on that route cos there are alot of those guys out there now cos while I was there the next day they still came in with about 10 cars while I was there with the airforce but still all the money is not going to our governmentto help repair bad road but to some set of touts....I just hope Nigeria will be better some day.... Big thanks to you all that reply and gave me advise on how to go about it. God bless you also shame on the moderator that refuse to help push this to front page for Nigerians to see what we are going through on the street of naija and learn from my own little mistake and not do the same.

Forget the big name AIRFORCE or ARMY, it all boils down to personality. I’ve had plenty plenty experience with road offenses although not in yaba but I’m sure you could use some of mine. Incase of next time, settle it right there right then, never allow your car get to their office. If you had offered money at that point it certainly would’ve been less than 10k and no time wasted. Try to take charge of the situation, call someone out of them separately that has sense, speak to him explain why you took a U turn but don’t try to justify it, act like you’re on their side and you want to get this thing done with. If all that does not work out make sure any force guy you’re taking there is actually rugged and can control people not just a mentally weak person.

One of my car once spent one and half a month at lasma Sura, and that was very intentional, got it out for a token after they calculated demurrage of about 43k.

You are right about that sir, all I was having on me at that spot was about 2k left and I was try to talk to them so i can settle them with 10k but will have to get to the atm for withdrawal but them insisted. They had to attach there towing vehicle to my car to toe it to there office.... anyway just a lesson for other to try be extra careful of those thugs in yaba
