So this Frank kokori is using the nlc as a tool to gain an undeserved employment.

It goes a long way to show the kind of man he is and what his administration would be if given a chance.
You won't say this if you are aware of Kokori and the NLC struggle years back.
Kokori is one of the few Nigerians alive with integrity.

What right does the NLC have to dictate to government who should be the chairman of what.

Did Ngige dictate who should be the NLC chairman?

Instead of them to keep their house in order and fight for the good of Nigerian workers, they are busy fighting for Frank Kokori.

Funny group

1. NSITF has tripartite stakeholders:government, employers (NECA) and employees (labour), it is right and fair that whoever should be the chairman of board of NSITF should be neutral and unconnected to any of the stakeholders. Frank Kokori is known Labour man, which makes unfair for him to be chairman.

2. The NSITF bill says the chairman of its board shall be appointed by the president on the recommendation of the minister. So what law gives NLC the right to insist that it should appoint the chairman when it doesn't constitute the government.

3. While its peers all over the world have massive investments to support retired workers, NSITF still remains a toddler since establishment with little investment. Rather it has become 'cash cow' for each presiding board and management team to enrich themselves.

4. Time has come for reforms. The first step is to put a neutral professional to manage the fund as done all over the world. Minister's nominee is a qualified accountant and insurance professional with extensive experience. Frank Kokori lacks such qualifications.

5. Does it not amount to abuse of Labour unionism for NLC to threaten to shut down the economy just to force government to appoint Frank Kokori? Now, if government gives in, it loses its authority as government as NLC will easily manipulate it by threat of economy shut down to have its way always. The tail does not wag the dog. No, the dog wag the tail. Now, can NLC leadership give in to threat by any of its affiliates?

6. There are many appointments that can be given to Frank Kokori. NLC Insisting on chairmanship of NSITF or nothing is suspicious.
Well stated.
