The management of rejuvenated and revitalized Anambra Motor Manufacturing Company (ANAMMCO) says that the vehicle plant produces standard and affordable vehicles for the Nigerian market. Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of ANAMMCO, Chief Godwin Ubaka Okeke, who disclosed this to newsmen at the ongoing 30th Enugu International Trade Fair, said that they are working in conjunction with a Chinese motor manufacturing company, DONGFENG to give Nigerians durable vehicles that are good for any type of roads. Okeke said that in no distant time, ANAMMCO-DONFENG would be the number one motor manufacturing company in Nigeria, adding that they have spare parts unlike some vehicles that lack spare parts. The ANAMMCO boss who is also the chairman of a leading transport company, GUO motors, said that because ANAMMCO vehicles are of good standard and are affordable, they are using ANAMMCO-DONGFENG vehicles for their industry. “By Nigerian standard, the vehicles are affordable. We are no longer with Mercedes. This is a new company and it is number one in China. In less than a year, it will be number one in Nigeria. “The vehicles can perform very well anywhere in any part of the country,” he said. According to Okeke, the firm is also targeting to shift from motor assembling to building of vehicles made purely in Nigeria. He however, pointed out that they were ready to partner with organizations that are willing to do business with them, adding that already, some organizations have been approaching them for funds. Okeke lamented that it has not been easy since they took over the management of ANAMMCO, but said that they have been doing everything possible to surmount the teething problems.

Hi, maybe a little bit of clarification will help... Does it mean the plant is being rented out for companies that want to assemble their trucks or vehicles. We need this to avoid mix ups in the future.

Not any company, we have already bought the leasing for a particular period, so not any company can rent the assembling line.

Fuel wise, mileage, output, spare parts and maintenance- Shacman is down below..
You can't even compare it with HOWO and the recent HOHAN of Sinotruck.
Even most of our drivers are rejecting Shacman.

We also market Sinotruck Howo and Hohan in partnership with the original Chinese brand owners in Nigeria.....you cannot compare Sinotruck Howo or Hohan with Shacman. Shacman has been in existence and road proven and errors almost corrected than Sinotruck Howo and Hohan.

Dangote made Sinotruck Howo popular in Nigeria, but he realized it can't compare to Shacman in terms of durability, reason he went to China to get the license to start assembling Shacman in Nigeria and Africa, but he was referred back to us, and he had to buy from us.

All of them are using the same Weichei engine......but axle strength and ability to withstand tough terrain and load makes the difference and our Shacman axle does the job better.

But Sinotruck Howo is also very good and durable, no issue, I recommend it too. It also uses Weiche engine.....Euro II.
