Women in other parts of the world have demanded more political appointments, and have received that which they ask for.
Please Any examples? which countries? which year? huh

Nigerian women should let these men continue to run this country down to the ground into complete destruction. Then when inevitably a new nation must arise, use this their monumental f!ck up as a case study for why men from the region currently called Nigeria shouldn't be allowed to lead a chicken coop, let alone a country unless your goal is a failed state.

Why are they storming national assembly?
Are they not the higher population when it gets to voting?
Pls is they anywhere in the constitution 100% rights were given to men...

They will still be the ones that will vote men and be disturbing us!

Ask Jubril why she had only 2 votes during the primary election of PDP then when they were massive women in that congress?
Your mouth is smelling...Bible, Quran and even all our traditional customs emphatically says, women should not rule over men.

Thank God for civilisations, women were given opportunity to serve in the government...
Our civilisations hasn't reached the point where we give 50-50 position to women. They should be contempted with what we are giving them or else...

more reason I hate seeing you in the office you are just displaying here.
What have the men done for Nigeria since the colonial times? Everything set in place so far have been done by the colonial masters. The gorillas occupying the seats currently are just sitting, shouting, stealing money and scratching their dirty nyash. Am I lying? As we speak you are living in your one bedroom face me I face you apartment in the darkness looking for employment for the past 7 years and you have the guts to open your dirty mouth to bash women. You don't know that we are the ones that will make the real change you are looking for. Ingrate

I don't undeeestand. Are they expecting for it to be delivered to them on a gold platter? Let them walk for it the way their make counterparts have done. People should be in position of leadership based only on merits.

I support this movement.
I'm a man.

My fellow brethren

It's not like they want this all of a sudden on a platter of Gold.
In Nigeria's political system today. it is extremely hard for a woman to get Just through the primaries in a party... talk less about now winning a seat. because these parties... intentionally don't want them to win seats especially the Muslim north oligarchy.

This time our women are going to fight for their spot in Nigeria's affairs.

I'm very proud of them.

I wish them all the best.

Nigerian women should focus on gaining economic power before seeking political power. Start businesses that will be succesful. Then vie for political office. That's how the men do it. No man will give up his position for you.

Aren’t these positions electable posts, how many of them contested during the past elections.

You can’t just expect to be given power because you’re a woman or because there aren’t many women in government.

You have to actually earn these positions, I believe if a woman is qualified and has the required experience no employer will over look her because she’s a woman, there’s no law stopping woman from being in power so instead of these protests why not educate the girl child and start grooming her for leadership? There are good role models to follow, people like Okonjo Iwela, the late Dora Akuniyi, Angela Merkel, Theresa May. None of these women got voted or appointed because they were women, they actually earned these positions with their brains and hardwork

And no, I don’t have anything against women, I see myself as a feminist, someone who believe that women can achieve what ever they want and excel in any profession or field of study, I just feel that the idea being pushed by some bitter women that the world is against women or men hate a successful woman is wrong
You are right.
