Not in some places in Lagos..10m can not get u a plot of land in some places. Some lands are as high as 100m.....1004 flats range from 3-5m..If u put into consideration d environment and d value of d estate,it is worth it..

Don't be fooled by the high price,at times most of d flats cos of d high price are empty, nobody to rent them but some do, especially some corporate organizations and expatriates...

You left out Ijaye-Alagbado axis, flat is getting expensive in that area despite the awful traffic.

Ijora Badia is a no go area, when those guys start their fight, life go tire you also that area is too crowded, too much people especially in Badia when you live in area like Sango, Gaskiya, Baale, Church Street, they are as if they give birth on daily basis also the roads are nothing to write about, living in Ijora, Badia, Orile, Amukoko, you need to think twice though I heard they are building new structures and the developers are trying to modify the buildings but, one need to think well before getting an accommodation there

The issue of traffic is another concern, those tankers used to queue from their station in Marine Beach all the way down to Gaskiya, Round About even blocking people's entrance... so wisdom is needed

You know Ijora and the environs.

The biggest issue for me about Ijora and other areas you mentioned is the psyche of most of the residents. It is toxic but the toxicity is considered normal because they can't even see the toxicity.

Why are you talking like a poor person without hope to ever be wealthy in life? Are the people renting these places not humans like you? If you are a multi millionaire with your private home in another state and you are given a job or contract for a year in Lagos which is worth billions, why go buy or build a house a Lagos when you have enough and 10million is chicken change to have a comfortable private rented home with everything you need inside.
You think those sort of places are for hungry people who see 10million as anything. My dear, though 10million is big to many of us, it's a chicken change to some people and if there were no body paying for those houses like that, then it won't be existing in the first place.

They are called presidential serviced apartments. Just as they have presidential suites in hotels.

Exactly, they all have this mentality of toxicity that even those that are educated are having same problem. I went to visit a friend who stays in Abete, the area is close to Gaskiya College Road and I was thinking how he managed to cope! The noise around can cause headache, the surrounding is just like a dumb ground, the drainage, Lord have mercy, and the population there is massive. 85% of people living in Ijora Badia are Ilorin and Ibadan folks. If you visit places like Giwa, Railway lines, and Arewa you will weep for them. Of a truth, there are some that are trying to change the narrative but the number is very very few.

Living in Ijora to me is more like you going to the stone age, I am.sorry if this sound harsh to this living there but we need to tell the truth

You work and earn salary of 100k. How can you rent a house of 350k in this kind of scenario. Landlords in Lagos have become rich men overnight. Our population is soaring higher and higher with serious housing deficit. God help us in this country. Food, and shelter are the most expensive basic amenities in this Lagos.
