Just watched the video and I am not understanding why you interviewer kept emphasizing on "why would a country deport their own citizen?" He doesn't know that [b]being born in an EU country doesn't guarantee your citizenship [/b]like it's done in the US and Canada. If you like birth 10 children there, they will never be regarded as citizens of that country. For the woman not to have a passport means she entered Europe illegally through the Mediterranean and migrated into Germany without any travel documents. All the time she was in Germany, she couldn't locate a Nigerian embassy to get their passports done? How can you and your kids not have passports and you continued living in a foreign country comfortably because you birthed them there? She brought this upon herself, now her children have to suffer the consequences of her stupidity. Poor kids.

In the western world. I think only U.S.A and Canada have birth right citizenship jus soli.

Even though the kids were born in Germany that does not automatically qualify them for German citizenship unless either of their parents is a citizen.

The lady keep emphasizing she does not have Nigerian passport but, well although Nigerian consulate are notorious in issuing travel documents to foreign countries to deport their citizens back to murtala Mohammed.. the lady did not state or maybe I didn't hear that she was a legal resident in Germany or a German citizen or she was married to a German citizen.

Anything that could justify her legal stay.

If their father is a citizen or permanent resident permit holder and have lived in Germany for at least 3yrs then those kids are citizens

The German nationality law doesn't confer automatic citizenship by the virtue of birth (jus soli), but by the virtue of blood (jus sanguinis). If the kids mother is illegal at birth, then such status is automatically passed down to the kids. In the western world, only Canada and USA does citizenship by birth.

Before the German authorities will deport she and her kids, it is certain that she must have breached immigration law, as the authorities normally will act within the reach of the law. Gone are the days your kids can be a reason why you'll be permitted to reside, unless one of their parent is a citizen or has a legal status when they were born.

It could be possible to be deported . I live in UK if you are in the UK illegally and you have your kids born here does not mean your kids are british citizen it would take good many years before your kids can have British citi ship cos you are illegally in the UK .
If the UK government see you as a threat to the national security or you commit an offence they got every right to deport you and your family only IF your kids are not British citizens .
In the UK children become automatic citizen based on the parents status in the uk not like USA or Canada that kids born there are automatic citizen irrespective of their parents immigration status . That's why immigrants don't come and give birth in the UK cos you won't get the citizenship

You didn’t commit any crime. But you intentionally feasting on their social welfare all these years without contributing to it, is a huge crime dear. And you aren’t showing any sign of desisting from it.

I hate to see theses innocent kids go through all this & starting all over again.
