Good day nairalanders, the last time i check she is one of the most senior supreme Court judge, Since the PDP is insisting appeal court judge should rescue her self from being a member of the presidential election tribunal owing to the fact that her husband is a chieftains of the Apc, I just want to know if this matter get to the supreme Court, and Mary Odili happen to be a member of the panel, will she rescue her self? For those who don't know she is the wife of Peter Odili a former rivers state governor.

Nope he isnt, and thats why she's not obligated to listen to PDP emotional blackmail , just as Amina Zackara of Inec Ignored them till they faded away.. We have laws guarding the code of conduct of Public officers and ethics, as long as no law is breached any other noise remains distraction

We all have different Moral compas, and what is Honourable to me , might be Dishonourable to you and thats why we have the Law as the common ground. Justice Atinuke Ige presided over many cases in which her husband was the lawyer to the defendant, and many of such cases were lost by her husband... she even scolded her husband in court and at times threaten him to lock him up for contempt of court whenever he was unruly.

The PDP legal team knows how to Aproach the registrar of the Judiaciary if they have enough grounds to seek another tribunal Judge, they can even file a a suit at another court to restrain her from been the tribunal judge, but they didnt because they know they lack real grounds for such, so they decide to seek sympathy from court of public opinion through sponsored protest

please who so ever that know how to reach Buhari should tell him not to make Chris Ngige a minister any more, i expected him to abolished contract staff in our society especially in the banking sector, imagine people working as second class citizens in their own country and this unproductive minister see nothing wrong with that.

Im not sure Mary odilli has presided over any political case since she made it to the supreme court. However, you can almost tell she is working behind the scenes. For example, wike and rivers state hardly lose any case of real relevance

She was among the Justices on the Tax case of Abia State Governor. And also Zamfara Governorship Election between Yari (APC) vs Shinkafi (PDP).
