the ones with British ancenstry, after south Africa gained independence the Brits and the dutch still had influence on the government till the end of Apartheid.

This is one of the aspects History does not emphasize enough: How did Hitler manage to take Germany from the stage of a broke and broken country (social unrest, skyrocketing unemployment rate and financial chaos etc .) and make it a financially stable military superpower.

Hitler was a Leader indeed BUT a little over confident and over ambitious. Had he delayed his onslaught till 1948 and get his Jet planes and V2 rocket right, he would have been unstoppable.
