Ali Bin Alua: The First Person To Own A Car In Kano by NASTYNASOSO(op): 1:38am On May 16, 2019

Ali Bin Alua (on passenger seat of his 1923 Ford Model T) was the first person to own a car in Kano. A trans-saharan trader from Libya, Bin Alua settled in Kano in 1878 and built the first storey building in the city. Around early 20th Century, he was the richest man in Northern Nigeria. He died in 1958.
