you haven't said anything.
you didn't tell us the platform(wamp or your server)
you didn't paste the error code?
For me 500 error code mean error was from the server.

Login to your cpanel, and check the content of the error_log file

Common causes
1. Wrong php version. If your app is running php laravel, it requires at least php 7.0, most servers are configured to run php 5 by default, so onc of the vendor files throw error.
2. Misconfigured .htaccess file. If there's ANY error in the .htaccess file, then you'll keep getting error 500.
3. Run time error. if there's some sort of runtime error in your code e.g requiring a file that doesn't exist missing bracket or semi colon, you'll get this error.


Login to your cpanel, goto metric -> errors, you'll see the last errors, copy and paste them here for further help.

check if you have exceeded your inodes for your current hosting plan.
