The Federal Government has reduced the cost of the repair of the terminal of Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu by 75 per cent.

President Muhammadu Buhari stated on Wednesday that the project would be delayed as a result of the reduction in the cost.

The President, via his Twitter handle, @MBuhari, following the signing of the 2018 budget in Abuja, tweeted, “The provision for construction of the terminal building at the Enugu airport was cut from N2bn to N500m, which will further delay the completion of this critical project.” (Punchnewspaper)
