CodeTemplar:It's a mikano generator powered by bio-disel. I will get pictures of it tomorrow. I was expecting to see a gas plant or something but was surprised to see a sound-proof generator. |

No matter how you cut it or slice it, this is a welcomed development. I hope this is implemented immediately. It is not who has the idea, it is who bring it into practice. I hope this is not another blueprint promise. I wish most of the universities can compete with one another in some mini projects on campus as an example of what is doable on a large scale. Ibadan, Nsukka, Hamadu Bello, Lagos and I think Ife at one point furnished their top floors into four stars hotels taking care of any medical problems. If they lack the expertise, they were willing to fly any specialist into the country to take care of the problem. Money bags and enough Nigerians refused to patronize them. I do not know if these are still in place. Jakande built or started waste to power project, successive govt refused to follow up. He also started Subway contract and deposit made, Buhari came and killed it. Make bad bele nor kill us because foreigners will never save us. Look at Ajaokuta! A dey tok my own O! Every country wanted to shaft us and refused until Russia accepted. A they any different? |

Izit not the same Nsukka wey my brother they use rechargable lantern read for exams. All this lip service VC..... Having a 24hrs power supply is not a big deal, but when the likes of ATIFKU and others are still dealing in generator biznes there will always be some kind of sabotage. |

That's if they is anything like 24/7 in unn!!!. Talk is free, anybody can say anything . Let's go to unn and see, or ask our unn students if there is anything like that!! Or let even wait for the new vc to come and tell us what he meets!!!. We has heard and even seen a lot of completed projects on social media. But when you go on ground you see nothing.. If these guy really did all these things, we would have heard it with him telling us!!! If you know you know. Who is fooling who ?. |

In reality no full fledged university should lack electricity. Especially if it has an engineering Department. If they can't supplement they should close their doors really if they can't design motors, turbines, solar or other forms of electricity internally |
