SOUTH EAST APC YOUTHS SHUT DOWN INEC OFFICE,ABUJA OVER GOVERNOR ROCHAS OKOROCHA'S CERTIFICATE OF RETURN

..demand for immediate release of the Certitifcate of return.

..threatened to occupy all INEC Office in Abuja from Monday with over hundred youths as the group submit protest letter to the National Chairman of INEC.

Hundreds of leaders of the All Progressives Congress youth wing from the Southeast today stormed the Headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to protest the continued and illegal(according to them) withholding of Governor Okorocha's Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

According to the Southeast Zonal Youth Leader of the APC, Comrade Olisaemeka Onyeka; "This is not about Governor Okorocha anymore, but about the Igbo nation. This would not have happened to any other ethnic group in the country."

Several groups had in the past threatened to shut down Abuja in solidarity with the Imo State governor over the victimization by some highly placed Abuja politicians, culminating in the withholding of his C of R, against the clear provisions of the Nigerian Constitution, but the governor has always prevailed on these groups to lay down their arms, as he continues to explore available legal avenues to get justice".
