Maybe they are looking at recouping over a much longer period... Maybe if/when Tonto's notoriety eventually makes the brand a household name.. They are not likely to renew the contract with her though.. Paying that amount beyond 1 year doesn't appear sustainable... 7Alexandre: |

All they need is her lovely face.on their products in ads and illiterate Africans will buy. Nigeria is an exporter of cosmetics, movies and a lot of other things. If you know how many African countries depend on Nigeria for a lot of things you will be shocked. Ever visited Seme border in Lagos before? The smuggling of Nigerian goods going on there, particularly fuel, will shock you. In the daytime, you see nothing but at midnight till dawn? Jeeze!! Everywhere is so busy with smugglers. And that's just one gateway of the illegal aspect of the business. There's the legal part also. I believe that the firm involved here has a large African market to feed and are smart enough to package their products to African women in the western world who are wise enough to know that cosmetics that are good for white skin do not always work for black skin. Moreover, you guys can rest assured that if Tonto is lying, the firm she is using to lie will correct her sharply by tomorrow. And if the firm, which claims that it can pay her 100 million, has even an element of fraud in it, the EFFC will have fresh food to eat. 1 Like |
