[url][/url]Resident doctors at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, on Wednesday embarked on a two-day protest to press home their demands. The President of the Association of Resident Doctors, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Dr Kayode Makinde, said it was painful that some of the resident doctors had not been paid for five months. This is quite sad....& One Liar Mohammad said they are free to migrate if they want to..... Doctors please do your young selves a favor...make legitimate moves & leave d place for them....Everytime people will be begging/protesting for thier rightful belonging...... Our health care budget is 900billion...that's 2.9 billion dollars Sounds like a lot...until you realise that some European countries spend 100 bn USD on health. I will agree with the management to an extent. The FG is not so much irrespsponsible to owe doctors salaries up to 5 months. However, both parties needs a resolve. |

Naija my country! In Canada, doctors are protesting they are paid too much, in Nigeria, doctors are owed months of salary and those owed months are not up to the amount a doctor makes in a month in Canada!!!! Who we offend for this country sef? 1 Like |

Canada moves smelling.... already ngige says Nigeria has enough doctors..... so this is an indirect way of relieving them from work........ Anyway, the doctors have given red card to FG as all road leads to overseas
