It could be a factor...or maybe my power bank affected d battery....those are my thoughts.

If you have a launcher and icon pack installed please remove it, found out that it drains batteries especially on umidigi. Especially icon packs.

Powerbank should not affect it...... What type of generator, does it have AVR?......?

Can you friend still use phone normally? Have they ever used phone with headset? When headset is inserted, does it function properly?

Rather than half charging, a few drop downs to 0%, might help to rebuild partially destroyed battery cells......

Constantly charging this way, would eventually destroy battery cells......
