What's with all these clowns twisting the precious yoruba language for whatever motives they have. This trend has been on for sometimes now and nobody is saying nothing about it. Even the so called yoruba youths have joined the bandwagon to misconstrued our precious language and idioms. Adding some certain letters inside yoruba terminologies just to make sense to non yoruba is sickening. Learn our language and use it appropriately. Below are some of yoruba terminologies that has been "reformed" :

Dokpemu instead of Dopemu
Weerey instead of Weere
Olokpa instead of Oloopa etc

Yoruba language is very interesting if pronounced accordingly.

Is that all?

Bhukholar instead of Bukola. Inferiority complex.

Horluwa instead of Oluwa.

Olaniyi and the rest.

because the last time I checked, Lagos is in the South West and not South East. Since the inception of the state, only yorubas have been governing the state. Lagos, without argument, is yoruba land and shall always be. I don't know why I'm here lecturing you what's obvious and conspicuous to all.
