I think we should keep Bats as insurance, the problem is Bats only has 2 years on contract so now is the time to sell him. One more year would be just running his contract down further, the question is if Tammy doesn't hit the ground running, you're falling back on Giroud which could make for a long season

I blame the board for not cashing out on a disgruntled asset. Everyone knew Boateng was up to extracurricular activities and wanted out and so you either recommit to him or maximize the value you can get out of him in the transfer market

My problem with the board was rejecting €40m last season. We could have gotten Pavard and not had to pay Boateng's €12m P/a.
