I commend Dangote Group for their Coperate Social Responsibility.

I haven't visited the other roads but the Apapa-Wharf Concrete Road is not as durable as the OP is claiming, visible cracks are already seen on the parts abused by motorists. The engineers cut corners or don't have the technical know how for durable cement road.

When Julius Berger or Strabag constructs cement road, it withstand Trucks/Tankers abuse,flooding,waste disposal, burning of tire, digging by gsm operators etc. Several of them are in Lagos,Abuja,Benin,Warri etc.

Local contractors can learn/copy from these experts just the way China copied Europe and America to fix their once substandard infrastructure.
Fashola inspected that road when it was under construction but am sure engineers from ministry of works gave it pass mark.

When completed, the road will be made up of 10 lanes – five lanes on both sides – three on the main carriageway, two on service lanes. It will also include drainage, rehabilitation of some of the bridges and interchanges.

I passed the Road May last year. It is dangotes workers that re working there. They re setting slabs. Not even asphalt. Concrete Road using everlasting slabs. You should ask further bro
