Good morning everyone. Please I need recommendations for good face lotion and soap for a dark oily and acne prone skin. I am extremely dark sometimes due to creams I use because I haven’t found cream that suits me well. I started using clean and clean
for my acne. Seems not to be working so well and makes me extremely dark which I don’t like.

I need a cream that can brighten me a little bit not fair please. I’m a dark guy but change in creams has made me extremely darker like a charcoal lol. Funny enough my body is lighter. My face is just darker than my whole body. And that has been like that for years. I have a lighter body even when I don’t rob creams on my do. If u see my Thighs and legs, you will think I used to be chocolate which I think too probably when I was small. But growing up my face has always been darker lol.
Someone recommended Nivea natural fairness which I just bought but I’m a bit skeptical about it. They said for all skin types but how am I sure this won’t clog more pores and giving me more pimples. That is my worse nightmare. It’s better I’m darker with a very clear skin than having any form of pimples, acne or rashes particularly on my forehead. This has been my problem for several years. Up till date I have not seen a cream that won’t make me fair and won’t make me darker either.

I just need a normal dark skin that’s smooth and fresh. NB: creams that I have used and didn’t work: cocoa butter (good for my body but made my face very dark), Vaseline lotion ( a bit good, lightened me a little but after sometime gave me terrible breakouts), dove ( not good for face. Don’t make my face smooth) the recent one I just bought is clean and clear. Makes me super dark that I didn’t even noticed until a friend told me yesterday and I comfirmed it after we both took pictures and I was looking like lupita nyang besides him (note, we used to be of the same color during school days. He’s dark too but not as mine. Mine it’s like I got burnt and sent from hell ). (Note: I bought this cream specially for acne. A very small tube that’s 4,500.)

I have your exact same problem maybe worst because when I take selfies or look into mirror I see a perfectly toned chocolate face so cute and lovely but when I take group pictures my face becomes hell Black and everybody always says my face is too Black and give me disgusted looks , I have tried everything to no avail , I can't even leave home comfortably anymore because my self esteem is so low . All I want is a perfect chocolate complexion hopefully someday someone will come to my aid

For me, if you have a clear skin irrespective of the dark face, you shouldn’t feel insecure. Black is beautiful. My major concern is I have forehead pimples. that very dry skin is a problem oh. I have a friend that have very dry skin. He has spent a lot on creams to no avail. There are lots of creams for dry skins. You need cream that’s greasy and oily.
