This is corruption eating us up. Half of the nation's wealth is enjoyed by 5% of our population. God will punish them all in the Lake of fire. Over 80 million each month for traveling. His is taking trips to the moon and other planet? The Senators approved it because they also have their own big cake cut from the nation's treasury.

So how much is he earning huh

How much is their salary??

Is he still the minister of petroleumhuh

How can we justify the travels ?

Ho was it funded (from recovery loots ?) ?

How much will be budget in the 2010 budget for travel ?
That's if he scale the tribunal n supreme Court judgement ...
Enough of the shouting, that amount is actually not too much, considering we are not talking of travelling withing Nigeria alone,

A single trip to US OR UK will cost at least 2 million naira for a person, for a president that has to go with aide and all that will be between 15million - 20million naira (This is not including if its a 2,3,4 days trip, hotel accommodation and all.

Besides 1 billion naira is approximately 2,750,000 dollars, which is not much considering every thing.

Say what you know.
Who probes a Nigerian president apart from the NASS?
If that sum is approved, it means he can squander money for travels the way he wants.
He can expend 1m on a trip of 100k until the budgeted sum is reached.
The only thing he cannot do is to exceed the budget for travels.
If he has to do that, he will prepare a supplementary budget and send to NASS for approval.
