CAF champions league final (31/05/2019)
Esperance de Tunis Vs Wydad Casablanca. Morocco. Wydad Refuse to continue the match in the 61st minute, protesting against their disallowed goal, which was judged offside.
They demanded the referee to call on the VAR which never happened.
This has never happened in the history of football. What's your take on this?
Esperance were leading 1:0 on the night and 2:1 on aggregate.

This is bad and the referee must be held accountable

I don't think so because if he had looked at VAR very well he would know that it was a clear goal and that was why it took them time to decide. The commentators confirmed it . this is a dark day in African football, even the CAF president became confused

I think I listened to the commentators carefully and they said it was marginally offside.
But to me Wydad over reacted, by abandoning the game, they could seek other means of protesting.
I feel they might be banned of fined.

Yes but after looking at the replay, they said it was a goal

That was how their goal was disallowed in the first leg by VAR after 3 minutes of goal. Wydad was clearly robbed

You are on point. I think that's the more reason they protested.
