I don't understand how someone can group these entirely different ethnic groups as one country.

Northern Nigeria like Sokoto, borno, Kano are related to their brothers in Cameroon, Niger, Mali. They have nothing in common with people in south east or south west like the igbos, Yorubas etc.

South western Nigeria is related to Benin republic, Togo in their culture, history and language so why group them under entirely different ethnicities.

Until we understand Nigeria is not one and will never be one, the better for us.

They related to Yoruba Muslims. The Christian ones are related to their brothers in Togo,Benin e.t.c

keep quiet. You know Nigeria law favours them to steal and allow corruption so these set of leaders won't like to leave.

O.p it's due basically to the outcome of Berlin conference of 1884-5,then European superpowers arbitrarily dermacated African colonies according to their respective sphere of influence,it's unfortunate our forefathers could do nothing in the pre and post colonial yrs and shame on this generation not to ask fundamental questions like this.
