I believe some people just started watching football today.

Ajax lost

Barcelona lost

Madrid lost

Manchester city lost

Juventus lost

And so on.

Football is as tactical as it is technical.

Football isn't about fancy footwork or number of pases a team can string together all the time.

This was a very tatical match.

It's not by shots on target... how many shots got you off your seat, pumped up your heart rate or which of thise saves was unbelievable. Was just regular saves almost any keeper will make.

Spurs were not outplayed, was more of an even game with more credits to them even.

Congratulations to Liverpool. But this match will go down as one of the worst champions league final in recent history. No excitement nothing. Methinks Ajax would have put up a better fight than this useless Spuds.
Dull and dreadful match for a champions league final. Tottenham was consumed by the occasion, lack of experience killed them. Liverpool deserved to win but I would have loved to see a better contest.

This is the most arid Champions League final in the past decade. Tottenham lacked hunger while Liverpool were unconvincing. Instead, an Ajax versus Liverpool final would have surely left us at the edge of our seats virtually all game.
