jelel6:you're on point I'm a Man utd fan... I was under no pressure when Chelsea met with utd last season.. its the first time in years since Chelsea couldn't win united in a full season and <b> 3 meetings |

kleverley:That's the problem. Progress is not measured by beating one particular team, yet alone Man Utd. |

jelel6:you and I know so well that Chelsea struggled last season,no doubts about that ... if not for the inconsistency of man utd and arsenal at the latter stage of the season Chelsea wouldn't have made the top four... generally,Chelsea weren't up to their standard last season |

kleverley:Don't miss the point. Inconsistency is the biggest problem of a growing, maturing team. Chelsea were never going to finish above City and Liverpool in the first place. The table at the end of 38 matches said Chelsea is the best of the rest teams. |

jelel6:Lol...... U dnt know what I am talking abt....... Watch Tottenham's game against Ajax(1st leg) After conceding, Pochettino had to tweak his formation and played Sissoko(Early Sub) just to gain momentum bt all Sarri does is remove Morata n replace with Giroud, replace Kovacic with Barkley n Pedro with Willian wether we are winning or not ![]() |

igwefivestar:Short-sightedness is not seeing the bigger picture and only reacting to short term glory. Sarri has not conformed to the lofty standards expected of Chelsea's coaches. Short-sightedness is proclaiming that Sarri is now a good coach, because he won Europa, despite the glaring shortcomings he exhibited all season long. Short-sightedness is settling for short term cup wins over longer term glory, improved standards of play and regular progress,as Mancity and Liverpool have achieved. 10years in the saddle and I bet everyone Sarri cannot win the premiership. Allegri maynot win the premiership or champions league in the next 2 seasons, but what his type will give is lift Chelsea back to the standard of being serious contenders for trophies and an appealing style and pattern of play. By the way,I hope the rumour of Lampard being considered is a joke. My own picks would be an Allegri,a Tuchel or that former Barcelona coach that won them the champions league or even a Fonseca. |

MichaelBukamzy:for every coach Chelsea has sacked they end up winning trophy...so it makes no difference besides sarri want to leave to juventus and if I were in his shoes I would do juve is a bigger platform than Chelsea... |

seborrhic:Bros, the Chelsea i know now will not even tolerate any coach whether allegri, tuchel or even guadiola if they don't win any silverware for two seasons, even if u play to stay 2nd or 3rd on the table with good tactics(coach-player relationship) you might still get kicked out. The philosophy in Chelsea now is WIN! Whether you play badly or not just WIN in every game(Not possible though). |

oshe11:I understand perfectly what you're trying to say. In peoples eyes, playing 5-4-1 and then 4-3-3, then 3-5-2 and then trow in a striker for a midfielder and launch the ball route one style is what is term as being tactical. I say Bullshit. How many times has Pep or Klopp done any of that? At the end of the day, you don't dictate how a coach meets your target, as long as they're meet. What was your initial expectations for the season? Did you expect us to win the league? Pochettino is flexible but it matter little when they face a truly better team than them. We didn't play exhilarating football but it was by no means Bad. Only Liverpool and City played better. Klopp and Pep first season was nothing but a struggle for both. |

seborrhic:I stomach Alot of the ------- you said until you mentioned Allegri and an appealing style of play. I concluded there and then that you watch little football. One of the major reasons Allegri was let go was the archaic style of play Juve exhibited against Ajax. Allegri has been in Juve for 5 years and before sarri came to Napoli. Sarri transformed their style into something truly beautiful that even football romantics like Sacchi and Pep and even Allegri admitted that it was pleasant to watch. |

jelel6:Chelsea is and will ALWAYS remain a title contender Sarri= Maradona No Tactical Prowess Man City kinda game is always different when Aguero is playing compared to Jesus Just as it is different when Gundogan or Debryune is playing Etc I can continue if U want Pep's game is flexible Same as Klopp, same reason he confused Barca when he introduced Shaqiri in the 2nd leg |

OGHENAOGIE:Lemme tell you why real football Chelsea fan should be worried. The way Liverpool and City are now, they'll always be excellent because of the strong foundations laid over the years. This is a team with great individual players and yet, they play with a SYSTEM. 4th that's why Liverpool could be losing salah and firmino and still score four again Barca. SARRI is also a system coach but good systems takes time to implement. Pep and Klopp have 3 years already. In my opinion, Chelsea will not win the league until a manager stays uninterrupted for more than two years for as long as Klopp or Pep are still in the EPL. |
| Re: 'The Call Of Italy Is Strong' - Sarri by jelel6: 10:12pm On Jun 05, 2019 |
oshe11:When you say title contenders, do you mean Europa league or the EPL? Lemme repeat, if Hazard leaves and the ban is imposed, Chelsea won't finish 4th. They could win the FA cup or league cup. Those are never a measure of a teams strength. Allegri is a master chameleon, he can even put a striker for a goal keeper. Even he was won't finish 4th. Pep won't finish 4th too with our squad. All the other top 6 had strikers who scored at least 10 goals. We none. We bought Higuain because that's what we could afford. Don't tell me sarri doesn't know how to use strikers. Higuain and then Dries Martens score more than 30 for Napoli with Sarri. In a team where only Hazard could actually create real chances, and you expect Sarri to win the league when Sane and Jesus and Gundogan and Debruyne were on the bench. Oh, add Mahrez. The Next manager will BEG FOR SARRI'S SEASON. |

jelel6:The key Word there is "IF" Trust me IF Man City players all get injured, Man City won't finish 4th We didnt buy Higuain because he was the one we could AFFORD but because Sarri preferred him Sarri is an average Coach nothing special....... Unlike the Joses, Fergusons, Peps, etc Sarri should be ranked among Martinez, Koeman, Maradona, etc |

jelel6:you are emotional...conte won the league in his first season as Chelsea manager after mourihno was sacked...what system are u talking of...sarri is not staying since a bigger fish juventus has come calling...Chelsea know how to navigate dis things and history favors them since every coach who comes has won a trophy... |

What a lame thing to say about a professional football Coach.
