Hundreds of England fans were chased by Portugese police officials armed with batons as riot escalated in the Porto fan zone, MySportDab reports.

A clip shows England fans running as they are dispersed by Portuguese police.

The cops can be seen armed with riot gear and batons as they chase off Three Lions supporters.

Locals can be heard cheering on the Portuguese police in the background.

The incident occurred while England fans gathered for the UEFA Nations League clash with the Netherlands.

The police “made an intervention” as England fans were throwing bottles, according to reports.

Some England fans have also reportedly been arrested.
