No offense, but simply being fast at numerical calculations has nothing to do with being good at maths- it’s a mechanical trait that can be sharpened with continued practice.

Being a math genius is more about creativity and being able to notice and exploit patterns that nobody had ever noticed or thought of before.

In all things his skills mean he probably has a good short term memory and makes him more of a human calculator.
