Presidential aide on National Assembly matters, Senator Ita Enang told state house correspondents that with the assent to the amendment, May 29 is no more a public holiday.

President Muhammadu Buhari assented to the Public Holiday Amendment Act, declaring June 12 of every year a public holiday and Democracy Day.

One thing I appreciate the Buhari presidency for is the declearation of June-12 as the appropriate "Democracy Date".

I was part of that struggle.Sango-Eleyele Expresssway all the way to Agodi in Ibadan were our familiar routes.
God rest the souls that passed on during that time.As for Abacha, may he continue to burn in hell.

clown what does oil license have to do with June 12? so if the license was obtained the wrong way or there is a breach of contract tract the government should overlook it?

Instead of asking for good governance which Buhari has clearly not deliver and would never deliver because of his innate and acute incompetence, they are busy celebrating inconsequential Public Holiday. It's a pity

I have nothing to prove to you about MKO who was the first Presidential Candidate I gave my support to even as a kid. I'm not against June 12, I'm against meaningless celebrations of the incompetent government of Buhari to deceive the gullibles.
