Not all apk sites are pure, many of them are littered with Malware........

Malwarebytes Premium is a must have, on all android devices........

With all due respect from my observation the problem is from you

You need to checkmate the type of sites you visit and how you allow pop up ads
Even all this video download sites runs add that can litter your phone, you just have to be smart to outsmart them.

It's not about the device, but how and where you source apk files + downloads.......

You have to protect yourself from Malware........ This is not the manufacturers responsibility, but the users......
