There is no country that knows exactly the number of people living there. It is just an approximation.

But I agree there is a problem with Nigeria's reported population.

I don't believe we are up to 180m. Every state rigs their census to get good allocation and at the end of the day you have an aggregate population that is overstated.

Nigeria isn't up to 150m people. The next population census will be scam as usual. Every data collation is fraught with ambiguous manipulation geared towards "come & chop" style of governance.

Median age is not the same as life expectancy. They clearly wrote median age as 31 years there not life expectancy.. 31 years as the median age means they have a larger population of youths around that age than aged population.
